Hello Kitty Island Adventure codes come in three kinds: temporary multiplayer invite codes, layout codes for sharing room designs, and support codes for bug reports. As of October 16, 2026, we found no redeemable reward, promo or gift codes in the official sources we reviewed: the official website, the official Steam announcements and the official wiki. That doesn't mean Sunblink can never run one, only that no code-redemption system has been documented so far.
Everything here reflects the official wiki and official announcements as checked on October 16, 2026, after the free Welcome Home update (version 3.0) launched on October 8, 2026. Menus and features can differ slightly between platforms and versions, and Apple Arcade usually gets new content first, as the updates guide explains.
01
Every type of code in the game
| Code type | What it does | Where you get it | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| Multiplayer code | Lets one friend join your island | Multiplayer app on the Menu Tablet | Temporary, expires within a few minutes |
| Layout code | Shares a saved Cabin or Home room design | Kits & Layouts menu, Copy Code button | Each saved Layout has one; keep it as a backup |
| Support code | Links your sent logs to a support request | Settings app, Support, Send Logs | Shown each time you send logs |
None of these give you free items. They connect players, share designs, or help the developers find a bug.
02
Are there redeem or promo codes?
Not that we could find. None of the pages on the official website mention a code-entry screen, and none of the 55 official Steam announcements from the January 30, 2025 PC launch through the October 8, 2026 Welcome Home post mention a redeem, promo or gift code. On the official wiki, the word "redeem" only refers to in-game prizes and points, such as turning in Fish Derby catches for that week's reward.
The game's business model helps explain why. The wiki notes there are no microtransactions: Apple Arcade players get the game with their subscription, and the other versions are a one-time purchase with optional paid DLC. Even the physical Nintendo Switch Deluxe Edition puts its Deluxe content on the cartridge rather than including a separate download code, according to the wiki's platforms page.
If you bought a download code for the game or a DLC from a retailer, that code belongs to your platform's store, such as the Nintendo eShop, Steam or PlayStation Store, not to a menu inside the game. For what each version includes, see the platforms guide.
If official reward codes ever appear, the most likely places to announce them are the official Steam news page, the official website and the official Discord.
03
How to use multiplayer codes
When people search for Hello Kitty Island Adventure friend codes or multiplayer codes, these are what they need. The official wiki describes no permanent friend code. Instead, the host shares a short-lived invite code, and one other player joins the host's island.
To unlock all multiplayer features, finish the "Small Gift Big Smile" quest and start "Friends From Afar," which Keroppi gives you after "Open the Nature Preserve."
To host a session:
- Open the Menu Tablet.
- Select the Multiplayer app.
- Copy the code and send it to the friend you want to invite.
- Keep the Multiplayer app open until your friend is connecting.
The "Send Code" option shares a long invitation with a large image. To copy only the code, the wiki points to the small rectangular icon in a circle to the right of "Send Code."
To join a friend, open the Menu Tablet, choose the Multiplayer app and select "Join Friend," or press "Join Friend" on the title screen. Enter the code and you'll see a loading screen while their island loads.
A few rules save a lot of frustration. Codes expire within a few minutes and can change if the host closes or reopens the app. Both players need the same game version, and multiplayer doesn't work across platforms, including between Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 for now. Switch players need Nintendo Switch Online, PlayStation players need PlayStation Plus, and Apple players should check that Game Center is allowed. Online play also needs "Allow Online" turned on under Settings, then Permissions, on the title screen.
The full walkthrough, including friendship levels and fixes for failed connections, is in the multiplayer guide.

How to use layout codes
Layouts save the arrangement of a Cabin or Home room. They store the design but not the furniture, so you need the items in your own inventory to apply one. Kits are different: they save the design and the items together, and they do remove those items from your inventory. Layouts and Kits arrived on Apple Arcade in version 2.18 on August 6, 2026 and on the other platforms with the Welcome Home update.
My Melody introduces the feature in the "In Good Order" quest, which gives you a Tutorial Layout and a few starter layouts. Layouts you find or earn need to be opened from your Inventory first, using the "Open" option.
To save and share your own layout code:
- Go into your Home or a Cabin and select the "Add Layout" icon in the lower right.
- Name the layout. The game suggests a name, and you can change it. A layout can cover a whole Floorplan or a single space.
- To find it again, select the furnishing icon, then the "Kits & Layouts" icon.
- Choose your layout and select "Inspect Details."
- Press "Copy Code" to copy its code to your clipboard and share it with other players.
From the same menu you can view the layout's items, its tags, and the Satisfies list of Island Visitors whose room requirements it meets. Select "Apply" to use a layout in the room you're in. You can save up to 100 layouts per save file.
Keep a copy of codes you care about. Deleting a layout is permanent, and the wiki says it can't be restored unless you still have its code. The wiki pages we reviewed explain copying a code but don't spell out the exact screen for entering one you received, so check the Kits & Layouts menu in your version. For ideas on decorating your new house, see the homes guide.
05
Character Home layout codes
The official wiki lists a layout code for each Character Home layout added in Welcome Home. You also receive each layout in-game from the quest shown in the table, so you don't need the code to own it. Outside Apple Arcade, the wiki marks Cogimyun's layout as needing the Wheatflour Wonderland DLC and Usahana's as needing City Town. The wiki doesn't say whether a code copied on one platform works on another.
| Layout | Layout code | How you get it in-game |
|---|---|---|
| Hello Kitty's Island Home Layout | RBL2XX | "House Party" quest |
| Badtz-maru's Island Home Layout | B5WYE2 | Badtz-maru's Island Home quest |
| Chococat's Island Home Layout | 33PM35 | Chococat's Island Home quest |
| Cinnamoroll's Island Home Layout | BZ98WY | Cinnamoroll's Island Home quest |
| Cogimyun's Island Home Layout | 9LPM3V | Cogimyun's Island Home quest (Wheatflour Wonderland DLC) |
| Hangyodon's Island Home Layout | LGEE9P | Hangyodon's Island Home quest |
| Keroppi's Island Home Layout | 3BV46L | Keroppi's Island Home quest |
| Kuromi's Island Home Layout | P5L4Y5 | Kuromi's Island Home quest |
| My Melody's Island Home Layout | 995EBZ | My Melody's Island Home quest |
| Pekkle's Island Home Layout | PPEER2 | Pekkle's Island Home quest |
| Pochacco's Island Home Layout | XJRG4R | Pochacco's Island Home quest |
| Pompompurin's Island Home Layout | JQEEVJ | Pompompurin's Island Home quest |
| Tuxedosam's Island Home Layout | GWYWMW | Tuxedosam's Island Home quest |
| Usahana's Island Home Layout | ZEVVQZ | Usahana's Island Home quest (City Town DLC) |
Remember that a layout can only place furniture from your regular inventory, so gather the pieces before you apply one.
06
Support codes for bug reports
The third kind of code is for technical support. If something breaks, create a log from inside the same play session where the problem happened, before you restart or leave a friend's island.
- Open the Settings app on the Menu Tablet.
- Select "Support," then "Send Logs."
- Choose "Send" and wait while the game collects data.
- Screenshot, copy or write down the support code shown in the confirmation box.
Then email support@sunblink.com or post in the bug report area of the official Discord with your device name and model, game version, support code and a description of the issue. The support code alone doesn't explain your problem, so always include the details.
07
Avoid code generators and cheat code sites
Since there are no documented reward codes, any site offering a code generator, free DLC codes or a cheat code list for this game deserves suspicion. Never enter your Apple Account, Nintendo Account, Steam or PlayStation login, or payment details, on a site that promises free codes. If a list names a different Hello Kitty game, those codes won't apply here.
We found no cheat code or console command feature in the official sources reviewed. The closest shortcut players try is changing the device clock, and the wiki warns against it: manual time changes can cause severe issues because the game relies on new days to generate content, and the developers can't fix saves broken this way.
Share multiplayer codes safely too. The official Discord asks players not to post codes in its open channels or by direct message. Instead, use its "Unlock Multiplayer" channel to get the Multiplayer role, which opens separate multiplayer channels for each platform. New to the game? Start with the beginner's guide.
