Where to find achievements in the game

Open the Menu Tablet in the upper right corner of the screen and pick the Achievements app. Each category, such as Fishing Goals or Chef Goals, opens a checklist of individual goals, and the wiki tracks which of those goals appear on Apple Arcade, Steam, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation. If you want a pop-up whenever you finish one, turn on Achievement Notifications in the Gameplay settings on the same tablet.

Many goals list a reward on the wiki. Fishing Goals, for example, gives 10 Sand Dollars for catching every Seaside Resort fish, a Mermaid Figure for catching 100 fish and a Volcanic Guitar for catching a fish in lava, while Friend Forever hands out Friendship Blossoms and apple pies. Most other rewards the wiki lists are small: dyes, Sticks, Paper and regional materials such as Sand Dollars or Mushrooms.

Three categories carry an asterisk on the wiki: Hospitality Goals, Five Star Visitors and Wheatflour Wonderland Explorer. The wiki says they can't currently be completed because they include unreleased content, so don't worry if one of those bars refuses to fill.

Achievements on each platform

The Steam store lists Steam Achievements as a feature, and Steam's own stats page shows 53 achievements. The wiki notes that no Steam or PlayStation achievement requires any DLC, and that DLC categories in the in-game app are meant to stay hidden if you don't own that DLC. On Apple Arcade, DLC content is included in the subscription instead of being sold separately, although the wiki notes that item bundles such as the Deluxe Edition aren't available there.

For PS5, the wiki's table, which carries a note that it may be missing information, marks every Steam achievement as a trophy too and adds We're Proud of You for unlocking all trophies. No official PlayStation trophy list turned up in the sources reviewed, so treat the exact trophy count and grades as unconfirmed. The 11 Game Center achievements the wiki lists for Apple Arcade are mostly main story beats, such as Happy Landing!, Bog Champ and Reef Revival. The wiki documents no platform-level list for Switch, so there the in-game app is the one to follow, and you can compare versions in the platforms guide.

Watch out for shared names. In the in-game Explorer Goals, Tropical Challenge means finishing every Seaside Resort challenge course, while the Steam achievement Tropical Challenge asks you to craft the Gold Seaside Trophy. The wiki also lists one former Steam achievement, Stick Royalty for obtaining the Golden Crown, as removed after launch.

Every in-game achievement category

They show every category with the number of goals the wiki listed on October 16, 2026. Many categories are tiered, such as catching 5, then 25, then 100 critters, so totals add up quickly.

Base game categories

Several categories overlap with other guides. Five Star Visitors and Hospitality Goals follow the visitors guide, Fishing Goals and Fwishing Goals pair with the fishing guide, and the critter goals line up with the critters guide. Homes for All arrived with version 3.0 and builds on the Island Homes covered in the homes guide. Three flower colors, Black, Gray and Brown, need the Fairest of Them All quest first.

DLC categories

On Steam, Switch and PS5, the wiki says DLC categories are meant to appear only if you own that expansion. A few are big projects on their own: City Town Puzzles needs every chest in every Sewers room, and the wiki notes the City Circuit room hides two of them.

Steam and PS5 achievement list

Here are all 53 Steam achievements in the order Steam listed them on October 16, 2026, with Steam's descriptions lightly shortened, Steam's hidden flag, and the related quest or tip from the wiki where it gives one. The wiki marks every one of them as a PS5 trophy too.

According to the wiki, PS5 players also have We're Proud of You for unlocking every trophy, which it marks as missing on Steam.

The hardest achievements and how to plan for them

Steam's global stats show where players stall. As of October 16, 2026, about 97 percent of Steam players had Happy Landing!, while the rarest was Time for Milk at 1.1 percent. A likely reason comes from the wiki: Milk is often the very last visitor players unlock, because he needs all the earlier Cafe Cinnamon visitors first.

As of the same date, the seven Gold trophy achievements each sat between 2.5 and 3.4 percent. You craft each one from matching Gold Trophy Pieces. Take the Gold Seaside Trophy: its pieces come from Gold runs on Seaside Resort challenge courses, it needs 7 of them, and its crafting plans arrive after your first Gold run there. The wiki lists 7 pieces for the Swamp trophy, 10 for Gemstone and 6 each for the Hothead, Reef, Cloud and Meadow trophies.

Stick Nation (7.4 percent as of October 16, 2026) needs the Golden Stick. Its plans come after you take 96 gudetama photos and check the Gudetama Sign in Seaside Resort to claim the reward from Pochacco, and the craft costs 99 Sticks. Everyone's Bestie (7.3 percent) asks for Best Friends, meaning maximum friendship level, with 15 characters. The wiki rates Keroppi and Tuxedosam as fairly easy and Kiki, Lala and Wish me mell as extremely difficult, so start the slow friendships early.

A few smaller tips save time. For Through Thick and Thin, the wiki notes the same companion must follow you to both the lowest trench and the tallest peak. In the in-game list, the Basement Library goals need a friend, since the Spooky Secrets quests only start while you host a multiplayer session and the puzzle rooms need two players. Platform gaps and known fixes

Going by the wiki's platform marks, the in-game checklists are almost identical across versions, which fits a Sunblink statement quoted on the wiki that the team is contractually required to keep the experience the same across platforms. Updates usually reach Apple Arcade first, though, so newer goals can appear there before other versions get them.

The wiki flags a few gaps. On the Chef Goals page, Snack Pack and Vending Venture, the two Vending Machine goals, are marked available on Apple Arcade and Switch but not on Steam or PlayStation. The Hospitality Goals page, still marked as a work in progress, lists its last five entries, including President Elephant, Keroppi's Mama and Keroppi's Papa, as Apple Arcade only, yet the Five Star Visitors page shows those visitors on all four platforms. Treat both sets of platform marks as unconfirmed.

Several achievement bugs have been addressed along the way. The March 7, 2025 update notes on Steam say the Cabin Crazy Steam achievement became achievable. Sunblink's Content Update 4 details from November 12, 2025, which the wiki's Steam update history reproduces, listed planned fixes so the Magic Master goal pays out as intended and Open House unlocks after either Making Yourself at Home or Home Sweet Home PT2. The CU7 patch notes on Steam from June 11, 2026 list fixes for achievement and count tracking issues, including Wheatflour Wonderland achievements and the Sashimi Spire count.
